I've lived in Toronto my whole life- North York.
My husband and I are looking for somewhere downtown that is family friendly and that has the following:

Easy access to TTC
Low crime rate
Good schools
A lot of neat little shops
Good parks
And over all looks nice

Our Budget is from $500- $1000000 (TOPS)
I keep hearing about Forest Hill and Rosedale
