What does warehouse your licence mean in the Province of Ontario when it relates to Ontario real estate agents, Brokers, and Realtors? Often similar terms are used in this section of our industry that you may have heard of.
Warehouse your licence, park your license, hang your license, hold your license, store your real estate license. You can also add to those terms and phrases the words, realtor, salesperson, Broker, Brokerage, realty and the most popular real estate agent. Please note that the word license which is spelled the American way is a bit different here in Canada. Canadians spell the word with the letter C instead of the letter S as in “licence”.
In Ontario you will warehouse your licence with a Brokerage in good standing with the Real Estate Council of Ontario.
